Cover Art: Our April cover painting has no real title as such. Linda Medley, the California artist who created it, describes it as a "generic bar scene" which she had wanted to try. We looked at the painting when it arrived, and the only trouble we had with it was in deciding how quickly we wanted to use it. There's something for everyone here, it seems - more than first meets the eye. Happy April! (from the contents page)
This issue featured the April Fool's section, Players Handbook II: The ENRAGED GLACIERS & GHOULS game's first volume! - Six bizarre articles, and The 1987 Origins Awards Ballot - A special -- but quite serious -- chance to vote for the best!
It also listed the "Gamers' Guide," which was an index of all the advertising in the issue and "TSR Previews," a list of upcoming products from TSR.
