Dragon Ball Z II: Gekishin Freeza!! (ドラゴンボールZII 激神フリーザ!!), translated as "Dragon Ball Z II: Fierce God Freeza!!", is a video game developed by TOSE and published by Bandai for the Japanese Famicom on August 10th 1991. It is based on the Dragon Ball Z anime TV series and a follow-up to the previous game Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyajin.
This is a role-playing game that features card battle mechanics that have become a trademark of the TOSE-developed game series thus far. The story picks up with the "Namek Saga" and goes through the end of the "Freeza Saga". The game follows this story very closed except for the fact that, like in the previous game, Tenshinhan, Yamcha and Chiaotzu are not dead but are present in the player's party.
