Description

Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyajin (ドラゴンボールZ 強襲!サイヤ人), translated as "Dragon Ball Z: Assault! Saiyans", is a video game developed by TOSE and published by Bandai for the Japanese Famicom on October 27th 1990. It is the first video game based on the Dragon Ball Z anime TV series while also being a sequel to the previous game Dragon Ball 3: Gokūden.

This is a role-playing game that abandons the board game mechanics of the previous game, while still preserving the card battle system. The story starts at the "Saiyan Saga" and ending with the battle against Great Ape Vegeta. The game also features Brocco and Pumpkin (two illusion Saiyans who fight Yamcha and Tenshinhan in anime filler) and characters from the movie Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone.
