The fifth installment in Enix' hugely successful RPG series Dragon Quest. DQV bore the under title "The bride of heaven".
The game was ported to the Playstation 2 in 2004 and to the nintendo DS in 2008.
Due to the fact that Square didn't take part in the SNES (the western version of the Super Famicon), this game was during a long time never released in the west, but in 2009, the DS version reached Europe and the States, where it was called "Dragon Quest V: Hand of the heavenly bride". In Europe, the "V" was skipped in the title.
