Creating a Dragon Trainer
As you create your dragon trainer character, consider how you came into the possession of a dragon egg and the difficulties that came with caring for the egg until it hatched. Are you a Dracolyte tasked with caring for a dragon’s nest, only for it to be attacked, causing you to flee with the last remaining unhatched egg? Maybe you stumbled upon the dragon egg, finding it randomly on your travels, and it quickly hatched as the dragon accidentally imprinted on you before all others. However it happened, you have gained a loyal companion who brings its own trials and tribulations.

Dragon Knight
As a dragon knight, you prefer to don heavy armor and fight in the front lines. Skilled in close quarter combat, you’ve trained your dragon companion to both fight alongside you and maneuver around your opponent for optimal positioning while you absorb a hostile creature’s onslaught.

As a Dragon Mage, you’ve learned to manipulate the destructive power that exudes from a dragon to fuel your magical ability. You’ve trained your dragon to form an elemental connection with you, amplifying your spellcasting and deepening the bond formed between lifelong companions.
Dragon Rider
As a Dragon Rider, you excel at mounted combat. You’ve trained your dragon companion to be an exceptional independent mount as you soar high above the clouds together.
