This project began as part of inktober, a challenge to create something new everyday during October. The results of that month of work has been compiled here for others to peruse and use as they wish. 31 creatures inspired by varying mythologies all with their own hand drawn art.
The creatures and characters inside are set up for play in any generic OSR fantasy setting. Their rules light presentation is meant to be adaptable for whatever you need. The focus of these creatures is on the flavour of their abilities and their lore, not on the actual details of the mechanics.
Each of the 31 entries are presented with one page of lore, detailing the appearance, scent, sound, texture, and behaviour of the creature. On the opposite page are all of the rules required for utilizing the creature in your game. This makes it easy to quickly reference the page for anything you need, either colourful descriptions or hard rules.
