In For Whom the Spire Tolls, a would-be assassin dies after plummeting from the Sepulchral landmark, the Singing Spire. As the characters solve his murder, they learn how the Wise Minister uses its silver roe to dominate and control its enemies and agents alike.
In Profane Feast, Sepulchre’s elite feast while the rest of the city starves — but if the characters don’t stop them consuming silver roe, the Wise Minister’s grip on the ruling classes tightens.
Sacred Waterways takes the characters into Sepulchre’s sewers, where they learn that before there was a city in these caverns, there was something sacred. The seeds of revolution are planted, and the characters must help the city’s nix find a new, safe home.
The Shrieking Secret sets the characters against Ithavriel, the fallen co-founder of Sepulchre — then sees them coax the city’s many factions towards revolution.
Finally, in A New Wave the characters uncover more of the Wise Minister’s plan, then muster the allies they’ve gained to defeat the monster once and for all.
Dreadful Realms: Spire of Lies is a 93-page adventure path for characters of 1st-11th level. It's set in Sepulchre, the Underworld city and surroundings detailed in Dreadful Realms: Caverns of the Wise Minister.
