Ysma had been known as a prominent textile merchant in Palehsta, and so she brought that with her to New Ry’laeh City and soon shot to the top as the next new fashion mogul. However, tragedy soon struck. In 1935 AY, Ysma’s lover and fiance Calliope Lensworth - a prominent eldgineer for CthulhuTech who was working on their new line of Xanditor convertibles - drowned tragically during the unloading of parts from a shipment from Yu Lan. Mhende Fashion soon was sold off to Kingsley Yellow Fashion, Ltd., and Ysma was rarely seen in public after that. Some say that Ysma walks through Pier Street at night, searching still…
Rumors surrounding the supposed sighting of the drowned figure of Calliope Lensworth, long thought to be dead and gone, have started to make the rounds in speakeasies and cafes across East Ry’laeh. It is the usual squabble of gossip and half-truths, until each of the Wanderers - in one way or another - receive a letter delivered to them by an austere gruunduun man named Philleus, who informs them that he represents Madam Mhende, who would like to see them at her manor in three days time at eight o’clock in the evening. Inside the letters, the Wanderers will find fifteen Cash each, a CthulhuTech badge, a map of the CthulhuTech Public Offices, and an address to the Mhende Manor.
