Ducktail

Ducktail is a new game in the Schafkopf family, for 2 players.

Seventeen tricks are played each hand; certain cards are worth certain points; the object is to capture 61+ points. There are bonuses for capturing 9s (especially the 9 of trumps); there are additional bonuses for winning the last trick with a 9.

A pack of 36 cards is used consisting of A K Q J 10 9 8 7 6 in four suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades). 

Half of the pack (18 cards) is trumps. The face cards are promoted to be permanent top trumps (ranked in a specific order, by suit) with all the rest of the cards, in a named trump suit, ranking below them.
