Lupo Alberto (Albert the Wolf) is one of the most popular Italian comics characters ever. He is a wolf, but his girlfriend Marta is a hen: so, every time he goes to the poultry pen take her for an evening together, the watchdog Mosé tries to shoot him.
Since November 1985, the Italian weekly magazine "Topolino" ("Mickey Mouse") featured choose-your-own-adventure comic stories with the Disney character. Probably influenced by this, the publishing house printing the monthly "Lupo Alberto" magazine released a gamebook, partly illustrated text and partly comic strip, where the reader is Lupo Albetro trying to reach Marta.
The book is contained in a hardback cover that has inside "Il gioco dell'upo", a kind of Game of the Goose dedicated to the same character.
