The brutal murder of the dryad Seileach Còir by the cruel giant Miann Mor caused her crow friends to cry out to the Three Sisters for justice. The Sisters answered their cry, transforming them into duinfitheach. These crow like fey are master of illusion and have the power to create what could be seen as a second body, their scanradhduine. Uncorrupted duinfitheach create their scanradhduine using herbomancy, transforming the bones of a humanoid into a walking garden of living plants. The corrupted duinfitheach practive necrowmany, creating their scanradhduine from the corpses of humanoids, animating them as undead.
