Dungeon Robbers from Outer Space is an old school tabletop role-playing game, intended for a referee and one or more players. It assumes the referee will be using existing fantasy rpg adventures, which can all be converted over to these rules fairly easily.
Instead of typical fantasy adventurers, the players’ characters are alien astronauts who travel to “primitive” worlds in search of magic items, which their scientific academy wishes to study. Because interfering in the development of local cultures is frowned upon, these astronauts cannot go equipped with more than a mere handful of hi-tech gadgets. Only technologies that absolutely cannot be reverse-engineered by the native populace are allowed!
At the beginning of each session, your spaceship waits in orbit while you beam down to explore the planet’s surface. At the end of the session, you are beamed back up to report your findings.
