Dungeons Daring is a so-called fantasy role-playing game, often abbreviated as simply Fantasy RPG. A Fantasy RPG is not a board game, a card game, a computer game or anything of similar nature. It is instead a game where you create a character in a mythical world and a mythical time frame. In the case of Dungeons Daring, that time frame probably will have elements similar to the Dark and Middle Ages of our own real world, and the things you'll find in that world might have roots in mythologies similar to those found in various parts of our own world.
