"Echoes in the Snow" is a self-contained winter adventure designed for a party of level 5 characters. By the end of this adventure, the characters will advance to level 8. The adventure unfolds in the frigid expanse of Icewind Dale, located in the far north. Players will find themselves in the fortified town of Bryn Shander during the midst of "Midwinter's Embrace", a festive celebration akin to our own Christmas.
As they immerse themselves in the town's festivities, a call to action beckons as they are summoned to solve a theft that has taken place within one of the town's local stores. Along the way, they will encounter various famous NPCs, known from the renowned game "Baldur's Gate 3".
Before long, an immense giant assault sends shockwaves through the town, and the party is urgently called upon to aid in its defense. Following their triumphant repulsion of the attack, the town's esteemed NPCs entrust them with various missions throughout the unforgiving landscape of Icewind Dale.
Ultimately, the adventure reaches its climax in the quaint village of Caer-Konig, where an ancient evil threatens to disrupt an annual cherished tradition. Once more, the players must rise to the occasion, becoming the heroes that the village desperately requires to save the day!
