But recently, they’ve come across something far beyond their usual haul—an artifact of unimaginable power, hidden on a derelict vessel abandoned for centuries in a forgotten sector of space. This artifact, known only in whispers across the galaxy as the Zora Shard, is no ordinary piece of treasure. The crystalline object holds within it the essence of a long-extinct alien species, a race so advanced they were said to have transcended the need for physical form. The Shard grants its wielder the ability to manipulate space, time, and reality itself. But this power comes with a dangerous cost—those who hold the Shard risk losing their sanity, consumed by the alien minds that dwell within it. The moment the pirates took possession of the Shard, their fate was sealed. Word of their discovery spread like wildfire through the underworld, drawing the attention of the galaxy's most dangerous and influential factions. Among these are the Kazir Syndicate, a shadowy network of assassins who have spent centuries hunting for the Shard. The Syndicate, bound by ancient oaths to retrieve the artifact for their enigmatic masters, is relentless and lethal. Their assassins are said to be impossible to escape, blending advanced technology with mystic arts that make them the deadliest hunters in the galaxy. Captain Siraq and his crew are now being hunted across the stars, their once-peaceful haunts turned into deadly traps. The crew must decide whether to fight for control of the Shard, attempt to sell it for an unimaginable fortune, or destroy it before it destroys them. But as they travel deeper into the stars, it becomes clear that the Shard is no mere object of power—it has a will of its own. Whispers echo in the minds of the crew, bending them to its will, revealing visions of destruction and chaos that only it can prevent—or cause.

In this Solo Adventure you assume the role of a Character in a Dark Science Fantasy setting. You will require The Haven Fallen Core Rulebook (CRB), and any associated Expansions you wish to use to assist you, along with a pen and paper or word-processing document, to play.

The story is set up with an Introduction, a handful of location details and a few pertinent Story Points. The rest is down to you and your imagination.

The Actions you take should depend on who and what you see, and how you wish to interact. Keep a record of your story and adapt it as per the result of each Action. As you progress you will see that you are behaving as your own Storyteller, creating the interactive world in which you are playing.

Use the Character Creation section of the CRB to create your Character and use the Storyteller section of the CRB to assist with generating NPCs.

Once you have familiarised yourself with the following few pages, you are ready to begin.
