From publisher blurb:
On the surface, Eden Primaris is a utopia. A shining beacon of civilization, a world where technology and nature are in perfect harmony. Sprawling cities with shimmering spires rise from emerald forests, and the waters are so clear they reflect the skies above like a mirror. It’s a paradise, home to the elites of the galaxy, the shining example of what mankind can achieve when peace and unity reign supreme. But like all utopias, it has its dark side. Beneath the facade of perfection, there is Makhet, a place whispered about only in the darkest corners of society, a shadow lurking at the edge of Eden’s brilliance. Makhet is a prison island, a dumping ground for the unwanted—the criminals, the dissidents, the rebels who dared to challenge the Trinity Pact’s iron grip on power. No one on Eden Primaris speaks of it openly. It’s the kind of place that parents use to scare their children into obedience: "Misbehave, and you'll be sent to Makhet." It’s where the worst of the worst are left to rot, far from the eyes of the public, ensuring that Eden's pristine image remains untarnished. It’s said that once you’re sent to Makhet, you’re as good as dead. And for years, the island has lived up to that reputation. But now, things are different. There’s been a revolt. The prisoners have taken control of the island, or so the official reports say. The truth, however, is far more complex. Deep beneath the surface, in the forgotten caverns and abandoned facilities of the island, something far more sinister has been brewing. The prisoners may have started this uprising, but they’re not the ones in control. Rumors are spreading of dark experiments, of things that should never have been awakened. Now, the island’s population isn’t just fighting for freedom—they’re fighting for survival. As an operative sent by the Trinity Pact, your mission is simple: get in, crush the rebellion, and ensure that nothing escapes Makhet, especially its dark secret. But as you descend into the heart of the island’s chaos, you’ll realize this isn’t just another mission. The deeper you go, the more you’ll uncover, and the more you’ll question who the real enemy is. The prisoners? The corrupt officials who sent you? Or the horror that lies beneath Makhet's surface, waiting to be unleashed upon the galaxy?
