Effective Detective

Effective Detective is a strategic card game in which players battle their your fellow detectives in a race to solve a murder. Gather your evidence--hair, blood, fibers, fingerprints, etc.--to thwart your rival detectives and arrest the murderer.

The game is played in a series of six-card hands. Players go head-to-head with each opponent using ranked "Investigation" cards (powered from 1 to 6) to beat their opponent, or by playing an "Inadmissible" card to thwart the other player's card.
The winner of the trick gets to turn up a piece of evidence in their own evidence line-up which corresponds to the one featured on the losing player's card. The goal is to collect a series of 5 related pieces of evidence in your own evidence line-up.
