Election Day

Description

Election Day is a card game where you, the candidate, are attempting to collect the votes of as many special interest groups as possible. Cards are played face-up during your turn in an area called your caucus. Here all candidates can see your vote tallies. It is possible to split votes or use special cards to effect the number of votes in your opponents caucus.

The endgame begins when a candidate plays the "Polls Open" card. Now the game will end when ANY player plays the "Polls Closed."

It should be noted that Election Day is a parody game. And the humor concerning the special interest groups can be very sharp. Jabs are taken at Big Business and the Tobacco Industry. The recount card comes with a tourism logo for the state of Florida.

Election Day was designed by Ed Evans for Alien Menace Games for 2-4 players Ages 13 and up.
