This adventure is set in April 1240, in England. The Player characters should use the Pre-generated characters issued with the adventure, or they can create characters fit to be played in a Robin Hood style scenario.
In this adventure, You are being hired by Giles Fitzwarren, a Norman entrepreneur and merchant who wants to drive a fortified toll-road through the Greenwood south of Warwick to facilitate trade. But mainly to help fill his coffers with gold from the tolls. The part of the Greenwood he is currently working on is called Wychwood, which should have at least set some alarm bells ringing, but he is blind to aught but the glitter of gold.
