The World Tree is burning!
The world has changed as the last of the ashes of the world tree settles on the ground. The old lands of the Norse are in pieces, the old political powers have disappeared and new jarldoms and kingdoms are forming. To the far north the Sámi move in the land of the eight seasons protecting the foundations of the world and to the east the Finnic are being hunted by the gods of death.
