En Garde Reforged is a cinematic action card game for 2-6 impeccably dressed Renaissance-era duelists engaged in a pitched clifftop melee. Players must attempt to out maneuver their opponents in a series of one on one duels to prove their technique reigns supreme. Carefully manage your cards and keep calm, cool and collected if you hope to win the day. If you’re attacked at the wrong moment, prepare to taste cold steel!
Each turn the active player will draw a hand of cards, arming themselves with new items and/or restoring their Poise in preparation for the upcoming duel. That player will then begin an Exchange with a player of their choosing by using an Attack card. The way their opponent chooses to defend themselves (or not) may result in a flurry of attacks and counter attacks between the two players, exhausting their Poise in a flurry of flashing thrusts, slashes and lunges. If either player gets hit with an attack while they are at No Poise, they are eliminated from the game!
Be the last player standing after a series of ferocious duels and you win!
