From the introduction:
Enhanced is a narrative-forward, relatively rules-light tabletop roleplaying game about superheroes and other extraordinary individuals.
Most of the players control player characters (PCs). The PCs are newly emerged superheroes just coming into their powers and learning how to balance their old lives as “normal” humans with their new lives as “enhanced” beings.
Together, the PCs form a team of superheroes who fight villains and seek to protect the people of Foundation City.
One player will serve as the game master (GM) who portrays the non-player characters (NPCs) that the PCs encounter. The GM is responsible for describing the world of the game to the PCs and deciding the outcomes of the PC’s actions.
During the game, PCs will face and attempt to overcome obstacles. Their success or failure is determined by tests wherein the PCs roll a number of six-sided dice (d6) and attempt to equal or beat a target number of successes.
