In Entrenched: Gallia Guards, you take on the role of a French commander during the fierce trench warfare of World War I. As the leader of your forces, it's a 1 vs 1 battle where strategy and foresight are key. Before the fight begins, you must carefully select your units, each with unique strengths and abilities, to engage in the coming combat.
This deckbuilding game challenges you to use your cards as essential resources for giving orders, deploying reinforcements, and launching attacks. Your hand will determine how effectively you can move your units and dominate the battlefield. In addition to managing your troops, you can also call upon the special powers of your officers to gain a tactical edge when you need it most.
Victory is achieved by outsmarting your opponent and capturing their trenches to accumulate 9 victory points. With the right combination of units, orders, and clever timing, you can turn the tide of war and lead your forces to triumph in the unforgiving world of trench warfare.
