Escape the Lich King is a cooperative 20 card game of Dungeon escape through discovery and attack. A party of three stalwart adventures have overestimated their worth while exploring the nearest dungeon and find themselves desperate to escape alive.
Pursued by hordes of monsters and the Big Boss, the party must find their lost weapons while fending off the horde. To escape the dungeon, they must each find one of three potions that will help teleport them out of the dungeon. If enough monsters set on the trail of the party, they notify the Big Boss who moves in for the final attack to stop them from escaping.
If the party can fend off the monsters while fleeing the dungeon and all drink the three potions together, they can escape the dungeon with their lives.
Player Win conditions:
The three players win if they each have a character card, a matching weapon card and a potion card showing. Then all three players will drink from their potions during the Cleanup Phase to teleport out of the dungeon and win the game.
Big Boss win conditions:
If the total value of all revealed monsters is greater than 10 at the end of the Battle Phase, the players lose and the Big Boss player wins.
