ETHER EXECUTION: Our Entanglement is a tabletop roleplaying game, a story game inspired by the Magical Girl genre of anime. It uses a tarot deck to help you role play a Reincarnated Soldier of Magic.
The theme of love plays a strong role in this game, as you play a soldier who is trying to protect those they love. We will create our characters and establish who matters to them. Our characters are Reincarnated Soldiers of Magic, their karmic legacy and destiny having both come to bear.
Their magic continues to grow, but it exacts a terrible price on them. The one who matters most to each Reincarnated Soldier had their Ether taken. Only a husk remains, and a powerful magical weapon.
Each Reincarnated Soldier now has access to a weapon, forged by the love this important person has for them. Time is running out.
Will the Reincarnated Soldiers reclaim the Ether in time? Will our love see us through, or will it be our downfall?
Are we strong enough to take back what matters most and reclaim our love?
This game is intended to create an exciting story of magic and love, with high stakes. It takes only 2-4 hours to play. It’s a great game to introduce people to the magic of TTRPGs or story games, but it’s tarot story-game and task resolution mechanics are refreshing for veterans of the hobby.
