Description
Evasion is played on a 8x8 square board.Each player starts with 16 stones 8 on each of the two back rows.
Each stone may move one or two cells forward or sideways.
Sideways moves are only allowed when there are no forward moves.
If the stone faces another stone(either color)directly forward,then it may also move diagonally forward any number of empty cells.
A player who fills the opposite two rows wins.
Variant 2: You may pass a partial move.
Variant 3: Forward, diagonally forward and sideways jumps are allowed over enemy pieces one time, but only if the move starts on one of the first two ranks.
Variant 4: Like variant 3, but you may pass a partial move.
