Description

EVE: The Lost One is the second game in the EVE burst error series of visual novel adventure games. The game was first released for the Sega Saturn on March 12th 1998, on Windows PC on October 9th, and then on PlayStation on December 23rd of that same year.

The events of this game take place three years after those of the first entry. The player controls two characters; the female detective Kyoko, and the mysterious Snake. In order to complete the game successfully, the player will have to experience it from the perspectives of both heroes, helping each other to gather clues and to unlock events.

The player interacts with the game world by selecting menu choices, which mainly include looking, talking, or going to a different location. The game comes on three discs, with a bonus fourth disc containing some extra material: an art gallery, photo gallery of the voice actors, music section, and other stuff. However, this content can only be viewed after you have completed the game.

On July 16th 1999, an enhanced remake of the game called THE LOST ONE Last chapter of EVE was released by Seedsware for Windows PC.
