Background: Prior to the apocalypse the Patterson Building was everything from a struggling hotel to low rent apartments to rented office space. Now it houses a variety of undesirable elements, from beggars and thugs to mutated rats and feral dogs. The building’s most notable residents, however, are the overgrown mutant spiders that have taken over the upper floor of the building.
