Expedition

The players are competing archaeologists on digs throughout Egypt. Each wants to publish more valuable discoveries than his competitors. Status points replace money. Discovery cards need to be collected (in sets) to form complete discoveries. From the rulebook's Introduction: "To play 'Expedition' is to find yourself transported at once to the banks of the Nile to a site in some remote desert area, whose sands hold the secrets of the ages."
