User Summary:
F.E.A.R. (short for First Encounter Assault Recon) is a horror-themed first-person shooter that will barely let you breathe normally for a second. While having superhuman reflexes you must (as a F.E.A.R.'s Point man) try to find out what's going on with "a paranormal something" in the form of a little girl that keeps appearing at all the wrong moments and scaring you beyond what you're prepared for.
While graphics aren't bad it is true that there aren't as much unique surrondings as many would want to. Artifical intelligence is quite good, sound is great and atmosphere is the best. On the other side the opponents tend to get dull and multiplayer maybe isn't as advanced as it could be, but it's worth playing anyhow because the game has quite a few scarry moments, enough even for the though guys.
Gameplay is also okay, there's even an option of a "reflex time" that slows down the time around you so you get a better chance of aiming and escaping.
