Where their is a desire for more detail regarding equipment or other personal possessions, the Gear Module covers it, and supplants the rule for Gear in the Basic Module.

Equipment is always rated at d6. Weapons have different values. This die (or dice) is rolled, in addition to, any Ability Pool or Specialization the character can bring to bear in a Static or Opposed Conflict and in which the Gear is appropriate...or can be made appropriate.
