Familiar is a tactical player vs player pet battling game! You and an opponent build decks with your choices of magically bonded Familiar companions, commonly called pets. Take turns putting those pets into one of 3 rows of the Arena, enhancing them with magical Elyth, and getting boosts from Rune and Item cards. The fastest pets go first in Battle and roll dice to see if damage is dealt. The first player to earn 3 Victory points wins!
The fantasy game world of Familiar takes place in the 12 realms of Elytha Tira. Those who live there are skilled in the use of a magical power source called Elyth. With it they can perform heroic feats, cast powerful spells, or tame fantastical beasts which can become their familiar companions, commonly called pets. The Mythic Arena is where you join in friendly battle competitions against your opponent’s familiars!
