Description

From publisher blurb:

“It was a cold night in the Gate. The kind of cold that even six slugs of rye and a warm and welcoming bed can’t fix. For as long as you can remember, nights like this were when the city was at its most dangerous. The mercury may have dropped but the city’s blood was up. Which was bad news for its citizens but lucrative business for its PIs.”

It could be the start of any pulp thriller but this time there’s a twist: this isn’t 1940s America; it’s a 1940s fantasy world. Long ago it could have been any of the fantasy settings we know and love but times have changed. Now there are cars, guns, casinos and oh so much crime and corruption.

This is a world of gumshoe orcs, bartending gnomes and half-fiend femme fatales. This is Fantasy Noir.
