In Fantasy World players take turns being a story narrator. Each turn the narrator designs a problem scenario for the other players to solve. Each other player then selects an item from their hand and explains how that item solves the problem. Once completed all players then simultaneously point at the player who they think has the most convincing solution (besides themselves). If the player recieved either the most votes or no votes their card is discarded, otherwise it is kept. Item cards come in various colors if one player gets a complete set or 3 of the same color they have won the game.
In the story mode variant, narrators must continue the story each turn.
