Fate of the Norns: Ragnarok is a high fantasy RPG set during the Viking end of days. Fimbulwinter has descended upon Midgard and the world tree is plunged into chaos. Four ages will play out, with players guiding the destiny that was preordained by the Norns. FOTN:R uses the Runic Game System (RGS) that replaces the need for dice. Instead the Futhark set of runes are used to determine the success and failure of actions. FOTN:R continues to build on the rich traditions of its predecessors by adding to and elaborating on the FOTN Mythos.
