Fates is strategic, puzzle, card game for 1 to 4 players.
The Moirai Sisters, also known as The Fates, are the personification of destiny. The three sisters are daughters of Zeus and responsible for controlling the life-thread of all mankind. Together, the sisters ensure that the fate of every individual takes its course without obstruction.
Clotho has the Spindle. She is responsible for spinning the life-thread. Clotho is bound with creating life.
Lachesis has the Measure. She is responsible for allotting the life-thread. These allotments represent the life span of an individual.
Atropos has the Shears. She is responsible for cutting the life-thread. This is when the life of every person comes to an end.
There are nine Moirai Cards, three of each Sister. The Moirai Cards are shuffled and dealt in a 3x3 'Moirai Grid'.
Shuffle the 18 Puzzle Cards and deal them face-up in three piles.
Each players' goal is to manipulate the Moirai Grid in order to match one or more of the topmost Puzzle Cards. Matching the Puzzle Card to the Moirai Grid allows you to claim the matched Puzzle Cards. The first player to claim an agreed number of Puzzle Cards wins.
