A flaming star moves across the night sky of Alba and crashes over the forest of Escavalon as a fireball. People fear that the sign in the sky announces war and destruction or a great upheaval for the empire. Only a few who see the fire star suspect what it really is: dwarves from the Artross Mountains, elves from the Forest of Broceliande and a handful of Albanian magicians set out to find the impact site and to recover or protect the remains of value.
In the process, they will face competition from other adventurers, who will also have to solve the riddle of the Fire Star. The starting point for their search is the village of Bellslaed on the northern edge of the forest, where the companions are first confronted with a different problem: A heat wave in the Albanian spring is affecting people and animals and is getting worse every day.
The adventurers must unveil a secret whose origin lies in the magic of the dragons and decide whether or not to face what is happening in the hot forest and whether or not to hide the precious remains of the fire star. Conflicts with other seekers cannot be avoided.
The booklet contains a short adventure around an unnatural heat wave and dragon magic. It is suitable for adventurers of medium level.

Ein flammender Stern zieht über den Nachthimmel Albas und stürzt über dem Wald von Escavalon als Feuerball ab. Die Menschen fürchten, dass das Zeichen am Himmel Krieg und Zerstörung oder eine große Umwälzung für das Reich ankündigt. Nur wenige, die den Feuerstern sehen, ahnen, was er in Wahrheit ist: Zwerge aus dem Artross-Gebirge, Elfen aus dem Wald von Broceliande sowie eine Handvoll albischer Zauberkundige machen sich auf, die Aufschlagsstelle zu finden und die Überreste von Wert zu bergen oder zu schützen.
Dabei erwächst ihnen Konkurrenz in den Abenteurern, die ebenfalls das Rätsel des Feuersterns ergründen sollen. Der Ausgangspunkt für ihre Suche ist das Dorf Bellslaed am Nordrand des Waldes, wo die Gefährten erst einmal mit einem anderen Problem konfrontiert werden: Eine Hitzewelle im albischen Frühjahr setzt Mensch und Tier zu und wird von Tag zu Tag schlimmer.
Die Abenteurer müssen ein Geheimnis enthüllen, dessen Ursprung in der Magie der Drachen liegt, und entscheiden, ob sie den Vorgängen im heißen Wald entgegentreten oder nicht und ob sie die wertvollen Überreste des Feuersterns bergen oder verbergen. Konflikte mit anderen Suchern sind dabei nicht zu vermeiden.
Das Heft enthält ein kurzes Abenteuer um eine unnatürliche Hitzewelle und Drachenmagie. Es eignet sich für Abenteurer mittlerer Grade.
