“Medieval Dukes contest for gold and lands. Object: The player with the most gold at the end of the game wins. Board: The board is a 3x3 grid. The Central square is the Palace. The 8 Surrounding squares are the lesser Fiefs. Deck: Players use a common deck. The deck contains 78 cards.”
Each player starts with one corner Fief, six Gold, three Bishops, four Nobles, five Knights, and a hand of seven cards from a custom card deck. The players obtain gold by controlling squares on the board – one gold for each Fief and two gold for the Palace.
