Field Day

Game ID: GID0125561
Collection Status
Description

A two-player trick-taking and card-drafting race game. Play as dueling pairs of athletes in a relay. Win and lose tricks to draft the “right” card and keep an eye on that finish line.

Now go! Have a Field Day.

Gameplay is divided into Trick Play and Draft Play. This is a must follow, but may always trump, trick-taking game. In other words, if you have a card of the led suit you must play it, but you could instead play a trump card if you have one. During a trick you each play two cards, one at a time in alternating order. After you each play two cards, determine who won the trick - then begin Draft Play. The winner of the trick drafts first. Draft a card then move one of your pawns to the nearest unoccupied space matching the number on the card. To win, get both of your pawns past the finish line before your opponent.
