Description

There been reports of events of high strangeness revolving around the town's ancient burial hall under the old temple. Kings, Queens, heros, and holy people all claim their everlasting resting places amongst this hall of the dead. Recently, witnesses stated seeing Filcher, the old crypt keeper, running like mad away from some unseen horror in the dead of night. Last anyone saw or heard from him he had made a mad dash for the temple. No one has seen him emerge in days. Sounds like a good time to investigate. Head to the temple, follow the clues, and explore the catacombs under the city.What gruesome deeds will you find? What vile horrors await you? Will you find Filcher? Can you withstand the unknown? How can you prevail against so many unknowns? Using this generic catacombs map with lots of pre-populated details, points-of-interest, and a mini-mission allows for a quick play.

Just add monsters and encounters and you are good to go.There are clues to investigate, doors to open, urns to smash, chests to loot, sconces to light, tombs to raid, bodies to roll and examine, locks to be picked, and tools to be found to keep whatever danger lies hidden at bay (read vampire slayer's tools).

Finally, only the most intrepid adventurers will come to the end of the maze of rock walls and find the true secrets of the catacombs (read secret dark alter room with active teleportation spell to even more secret sacrificial chamber).
