First Edition Skills

From the introduction:

First Edition Skills provides a simple and straightforward method of handling general skills and talents in OSRIC and its relatives. This system will allow a degree of character customization while also providing mechanics consistent with OSRIC design principles. The mechanics behind this system are based on 1st and 2nd edition concepts previously used for skill mechanics, with some OGL modifications to tighten up the system a bit. This skill system is designed to supplement the class mechanics to allow for additional flavor to characters, but it does not replace skills which are specific to certain classes.
