Description

Five Gems is designed to be a fun economic PnP game that can be played by adults and children.
There are 5 gems all worth different values in the market: ruby, sapphire, emerald, topaz, and diamond.
Players must Trade Up and purchase gems from their starting 2 cards to build a stockpile of gems.
It's a game that can be played multiple times to learn which gems are more valuable, which cards to keep and which to trade away.

The player who earns the most types of gems over the determined number of rounds is the winner.

How to Play:
Exchange phase:
Each player starts off with a very small collection of gems on their cards.
The start player rolls the 3 dice, then from the trade marker the dice are placed around the board counting away from the trade marker.
The start player sets the market by choosing one of the exchange rates. Everyone trades 1 of their cards by following the exchange rates in that segment trying to collect more sets of a gem type.
When they trade their card they draw a number of new unrevealed cards as stated by the exchange rate and add them to their collection. The next player then becomes the start player, and continues over several rounds.

Purchase phase:
Players that have collected a certain amount of coins on their cards can buy some extra cards hoping to get more gems.

Scoring:
Count up all the gems on the cards for each type. Whomever has the most majority of each Type is the winner.
Rings on cards will break ties.
