This is a speedy game of the Battle of Midway. Players secretly allocate airplanes to missions: Fighters can escort bombers or fly high or low CAP (Combat Air Patrol), while bombers can carry either torpedoes or bombs. Players then reveal their choices and follow a procedure that creates aircraft losses and hits on ships. When one side has scored enough hits, it is the winner.
A D6 is used for some randomization, but the main sources of uncertainty are the players' own allocations of aircraft to missions, and their initial load-outs of airplanes: airplanes are represented by colored M&M candies, each bag of which embodies a different mixture. Players' strategies are thus in part determined by their initial inventories of aircraft, which can vary.
