Flames of War: Cassino is about the Italian front from Januari till May 1944. It contains armylists, painting guides and background information about the battles that took place.

In addition to the army lists included, there is also a new escalation campaign system called "Infantry Aces" in which players have infantry units that gain experience from campaign battle to campaign battle, and each battle is fought in succession.
There are 3 different escalation routes, The Liri Valley, the town of Cassino, and through the mountains.Each contains 3 battles, of 500, then 700, then 900 points.
To coincide with the release of this army book, new infantry miniatures are released that can be used by players as representatives of their "Infantry Aces" command teams.
