This partially sunken ruin is home to a strange, Lovcraftian sea monster in the uncanny adventure that comes with this map. The monster plays with its prey, using mind tricks and illusions. Sometimes, when it sinks ships and consumes the crew, it leaves a victim alive. Just one. And it taunts them, reminding them of everything they’ve lost.
Such a man lives in a seaside port, and he needs your players to help him finally kill the monster. He’s journeyed half way around the world and tracked it here, to these ruins. But none of the mercenaries he’s hired in the past have made it out of such a hunt alive…
He’s only ever been the sole survivor. Because it wants him to live. Why?
