Description

Fore is a golf game played on hand-made holes; the players need to draw the holes on one or two sheets each of lined paper according to the instructions. Pins or small markers are used to represent the balls.

Play is conducted using dice. Generally a player rolls three dice, one of which is a different color and determines the direction of the shot. The ball moves the total of the three dice in the air and then rolls an additional 50 yards. A player may choose to roll only one or two dice.

When in the approach area only one die is rolled and a chart is consulted, and there are additional rules for playing from the rough or a hazard.
