Forge of the Primordials Encounter 1: Courtyard

From the Introduction:

A small courtyard stretches beyond the natural stone arch and in front of the massive granite gate in the opposing cliff face. Two ledges that can be climbed with little effort lead partially around the steep rock face encircling the courtyard.

The sheer cliffs around you are age old sandstone with a reddish hue. Rubble has gathered on the ground and two distinctive trails have been worn into it, leading from the granite gate to the stone arch and beyond. The walls flanking the gate have been clearly constructed from blocks of a more durable stone, probably granite just like the massive stone gate itself.
