Description

Forgotten Victory lets you wargame the fighting in Eretria and Ethiopia, an often-overlooked campaign in which the British conquered the Italian colonial empire.

It covers the Italian invasion of Eritrea in August 1940 to the final British conquest of Ethiopia in November 1941.
The campaign is covered in 10 action packed scenarios featuring the fighting throughout the area.

These scenarios are for use with the Fireball Forward rules system. However, they can be adapted to any company level system in which the basic maneuver unit is a squad. There are a maximum of two companies per side with supporting armor.

All scenarios have been thoroughly researched and extensively play tested.
Two especially interesting scenarios are Crocodiles and Tanks and Tribesmen.
The first highlights a Belgian Police Battalion that invaded south western Ethiopia and was confronted by Italian irregular tribesmen.
In the second, the British employed Ethiopian tribesmen supported by South African armor in one of the final battles of the campaign.
Also included is a 12-page historical monograph.

This is not a stand-alone game system.
You need the Fireball Forward! rules.
