From publisher blurb:
The party shows up in a new city and what do they do? They head straight for the tavern. Whether that’s to get information, unwind over a couple of drinks, or start a bar fight - they all go to the tavern. But what do those taverns look like? More to the point of this edition - what are there besides taverns, because there are a LOT of ways to unwind that may or may not involve alcohol.
Forsbury is what they refer to as a “depot city”. It is in the middle of the continent and pretty much every caravan carrying goods overland is going to pass through here. So they have the best distractions to be found, since they have the most tourists of any city without a sea port.
But as every adventurer knows, taverns are also the best places to get clued into the latest adventures around town. Knowing what goes on in these places, whether simple local bars, exotic illusionist night clubs, or somewhere in between, becomes important for both GM and players.
If you’re looking for a ton of new ideas, ideas you can easily use in your existing game world or use to craft a new game world, then Small Bites is what you’re looking for. Our goal is to take a subject, whether an archetype, a monster class, or some other FRPG theme and bring you as much content about it as we can. But this isn’t a simple one-shot supplement. We want to get you involved in the process - giving us the themes you want most, the articles you like the best, and the feedback we need to make you happy.
This is the “World Walker” edition. The Game Master edition gives you even more, including ideas about campaigns, enemy characters, and world building. We know that veteran and starting players and game masters are all going to find things they can use, and ideas to spark their characters, campaigns and game worlds! Come on - You’ve got nothing to lose!
This supplement contains 29 pages of content, compared to the full version which contains 77 pages. We’re pretty sure this is the longest World Walker edition, so you get more, still for free. That means you have to try it - right?
This is definitely not a G-rated edition. We avoid getting too descriptive about any particulars in the book, but alcohol, drugs and sex are going to come up. This is the night life - that infamous time of day when inhibitions go away and some of the worst personalities come out. There is always going to be a spot where just about everything is be allowed, if not actively encouraged.
