There's a central deck of cards from which players dig fossils. Most of these cards are dinosaur fossils. Some of these are too big and hence broken into 2 or 3 parts. On each fossil card, you'd find three main attributes of that dinosaur - it's type, time period and region. It also has a face value assigned on the top right corner. Players dig fossils from the central deck and exhibit their finds in different sections as per their type, time period or region. A section with at least 2 dinosaurs is considered complete. While digging 1 card is free, players can pay and dig more in the same turn. For this, they may gather money by selling fossils that they may not use to the market. Other players may also find what they need in the market and can buy from there as well. If a player completes 3 different sections or exhibits 5 dinosaurs within 1 section, the game ends. To determine the winner, all players calculate the total value of their exhibited fossils plus any remaining cash plus bonus points for the diversity of their collections.
